Mel, There are several things they look at. Your doctor will want to do a bone marrow biopsy to see what % your Myeloma cells are at. They need t9 be around 10 % before they can harvest for @ stem cell. Love, Marcia ๐ธ
Well folks, itโs 3 weeks since I have see the oral surgeon, there was nothing he could do, but he did send a letter to, and instructed my dentist on what she should do to alleviate the pain From the beginning of a small portion of jaw bone that was exposed. I saw my dentist today, and since I saw the oral surgeon, my jaw bone is totally exposed. Now the dentist is trying to reach to oral surgeon for another plan. Thank you Zomita and XGEVA!
This thing is ponding with pain constantly.
My dentist put me on an antibiotic and gave me Tylenol with codeine which only helps for a very short time. Hopefully,
When the antibiotic kicks in it will be better.
Gail
PS if you are on Zometa or XGEVA see you dentist very frequently for them to check for any potential problem In the making. Every 6 months was not enough for me.
