My husband was diagnosed with MM in September of 2019. He received one high dose of radiation for the fist size tumor in his ribs, and then started the Velcade shot once a week, along with the Revlemid (14 days on, 7 days off) and the Dexamethason. 5 Weeks ago, he started getting cramps in his feet and tingling in his hands. He told his Oncologist about it, when he received the weekly Velcade shot. The following week, the pain had worsened and the Dr. took him off the Velcade right away… read more

Hi Ursula, I also have bad Peripheral Neuropathy and I am on Gabapentin 1800 mg and it wasn’t until I got to this dosage that it helped. Talk with your doctor about Cymbalta, it helps with the Neuropathy and also with depression. I have also tried acupuncture and it helped, it just got too expensive for me. Hope this helps! Stay Safe! Love, Marcia 🌸

I was on the same regimen for 4 months. They took me off the Rev. because of the cramps but I continued with the Velcade and Dex. I also had them lessen the dose of the dex. I got nephropathy also. It was awful. Tremadol worked well. It seemed to be worse at night when I went to bed. I also tried CBD and THC. It also helped. When I reached the point I could hardly walk they took me off Velcade as I was about to do the transplant. I still have the nephropathy but it's not bad. From June until Oct. 2019 I was on velcade. I stopped Rev. after first 2 weeks. My transplant was Jan. 20, 2020. It was hard as I had bad reaction to antibiotics. Last week I walked 2 miles with the girls at the state park. There is ;light at the end of the tunnel. I too wanted to give up. He has gone this far and is close to transplant don't stop. Tell him to do what makes him feel better. Whatever.

Thank you Jmoline. Our daughter got my husband this foot massager, and for him, it works miracles. When he feels the Neuropathy start tingling and hurting, or waking him up from his sleep, he uses it for a few minutes and it relieves the pain instantly. It might be helpful to others, so here is the link. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06WP7GXX5/ref=redir_...(Phone number can only be seen by the question and answer creators)&pd_rd_plhdr=t&pd_rd_r=33c9ef93-3a0b-4374-9c3b-23faed061df1&pd_rd_w=QqmWs&pd_rd_wg=YueQ5&ref_=sbx_be_s_sparkle_lsi4d_asin_1_img
