Hi Ursula, I also have bad Peripheral Neuropathy and I am on Gabapentin 1800 mg and it wasn’t until I got to this dosage that it helped. Talk with your doctor about Cymbalta, it helps with the Neuropathy and also with depression. I have also tried acupuncture and it helped, it just got too expensive for me. Hope this helps! Stay Safe! I was on the same regimen for 4 months. They took me off the Rev. because of the cramps but I continued with the Velcade and Dex. I also had them lessen the dose of the dex. I got nephropathy also. It was awful. Tremadol worked well. It seemed to be worse at night when I went to bed. I also tried CBD and THC. It also helped. When I reached the point I could hardly walk they took me off Velcade as I was about to do the transplant. I still have the nephropathy but it's not bad. From June until Oct. 2019 I was on velcade. I stopped Rev. after first 2 weeks. My transplant was Jan. 20, 2020. It was hard as I had bad reaction to antibiotics. Last week I walked 2 miles with the girls at the state park. There is ;light at the end of the tunnel. I too wanted to give up. He has gone this far and is close to transplant don't stop. Tell him to do what makes him feel better. Whatever.
