Has Anyone Experienced Excruciating Leg/foot Pain?
A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

My leg pain was so bad I could not eat, sleep, walk... I was miserably in pain even when I was on Percocet the pain was still present. The only treatment that helped with most of my leg pain was Radiation therapy. My foot still has some pain left and throbs (prob from dissolving blood clots).

Has anyone out there had this experience with leg/foot pain? If so can we chat?

Yes I have had a lot of both leg and foot pain. I now get massages and that helps a lot. I also found a cream that works well on the feet and it’s called Ted’s Cream. You can find it on the internet. It helps to numb out the pain. I personally love it.

I had neuropathy and pain in my legs and feet. Dr put me on Tramadol and Gabapentin. I started on the Gabapentin as twice a day then 3 times a day. Now I take 4 pills with 2 at bedtime. This does make me groggy in the morning though. I have more pain at almost 6 days after treatment., 4 days after Zometa. Everyone's pain is different so managing is different.

When I first started treatment I was taking Valcade and Revlimid. I had big time leg pain. I started with valium but switched to Narco, or Gabipentene. It did the trick but the pain in the ankle and feet remained. My feet feel like they are about to go to sleep along with numbness. The doc, tell me it maybe permanent. I deal with, if that's all I got.

I used to not be able to wear shoes coz i felt like my feet were on fire until my husband started massaging every night with wintergreen oil or any sport cream, it helped a lot but did not completely go away

My piggy toe around the back of my heel has numbness and felt like 1000 rubber bands were on it. I too was on Velcade and Revlimid and Valium, and Gabapentin....and the throbbing on the top side of my foot feels like my veins are exploding.

Dr also told me it might never get better, but I’ve been praying that it does. I deal with it the best I can.

Have you tried any home remedies?
