This Question Turned Into A Discussion About MRD-SURE And Curcumin - Will Repost The Original

Just heard back from my AON Nurse. She's fine with the Creatine supplement. I'll check in with my GP and the gym trainer as well but everything I could find indicated it was okay and helpful.

C3 Curcumin
A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

Several have reported positive results from using curcumin; we'd like recommendations for deciding how/where to purchase and what dosage.

Hi SyedM - Thanks for posting this Link. It covers quite a large amount of MM Cases - up to 60% bad plasma, allowing for a MSpike of greater than 3.0,

What Is Curcumin And Can It Help To Take
A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

I've heard some mention of curcumin as a helpful herbal treatment for MM. Can someone tell me more about it? Any reason not too take it? Is it compatible with traditional medical treatments?

A MyMyelomaTeam Member

Thanks. That is very helpful. I've been taking 2,000 mg a day. I will up that to 3,000. My last MSpike was a bit lower last month. Is it the Curcumin? Who knows?😄

Fenbendazol And Ultra Botanica Products
A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

Is anyone taking these Products - their Pathway 1, 2, 3 and using the Joe Tippens Protocol?

If so, with what success and side effects?

At first glance it seems a bit “out-there” but they refer to a Johns Hopkins Case Study where Fenbendazol helps with a deadly brain cancer that’s been difficult to treat.

My first impression is Fendendazol may make sense in hopeless cases with nothing to lose.

Separately, the Pathway products claim to have higher absorption due to their LPS Technology… read more

Can Anyone Recommend Any Extremely Comfortable Slippers And Shoes.
A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

During the last year I've been buying all sorts but nothing I'd call great. I have Vionic house slippers and outdoor shoes. Looking for much more comfort in a slipper. I've tried inserts as well. Neuropathy overpowers them.

Thanks !

My UGGs arrived and I loved them so much I got a second pair. When I am wearing them I don’t even notice my neuropathy! ❤️👊🏻

I Can't Find The Question About Taking Cucumin. Here Is What I Know.
A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

I went to the big cancer hospital in Houston and was assigned to the doc who was running the trials for curcumin. I asked him about it. He said that although it seemed to help a little, it wasn't enough for him to recommend it. After that I found a doctor of nutrition who specializes in cancer. When I told him what the doc said, he told me the results turned out that way because your body can only absorb so much of it and it needs more to really help. But that a German company came up with a way… read more

Any Suggestions On How To Phase Out 5mg - 4x Daily, Immediate Release Oxycodone (ir-oxy)?
A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

I've been working down all of my neuropathy pain meds during the last nine months. I was on 1800mg gabapentin daily (600x3) plus 5mg ir-oxy 4x daily. Phased down Gaby to 900, then 300 and then to Lyrica. Phased out Lyrica as well.

I'm trying to phase out the ir-oxy - taking 5mg at 5:30am, the second at 2 - 3pm and the final at 9pm. It gets quite painful and the next dose takes about an hour to quite things down. This is a recent reduction from 4x daily. I expect some of the pain is withdrawal… read more

Anyone Have Collar Bone Pain?
A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

I'm on Pomalyst 2 weeks on 2 weeks off 2 mg. I had SCT back in Jan. 2015. Have also had a few knots show up but when they ultra sound them nothing shows up. I had x-rays done Wednesday on my collar bone and left shoulder are but haven't gotten results yet.

A MyMyelomaTeam Member

I had a tumor on my left side ribs which responded to radiation and medication. On occasion my shoulder does hurt but that maybe more arthritis then anything else.
