Ahoy shipmates, I had 9 compression fractures repaired with kyphoplasty. I still have back pain. The doctor told me I have arthritis.
Any shipmates experiencing the same problem? Any suggestions? I would appreciate any advice. Thank you so much. Enjoy your evening.

I had my SCT July 14, 2022 and thanks be to God I’m in remission. I started my maintenance chemo and Zometa on November 28. I had 9 compression fractures repaired with kyphoplasty. I’m now having more back pain, especially when standing and sitting. I went to see my spine doctor yesterday. He recommended another MRI. I hope it’s not another compression fracture. I was thinking could it be a side effect of the Zometa? Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Thank you, my shipmates.
Yes I have back pain. I haven't had any back procedures. Praise God I am also in remission and looking forward to a cure.

one month after my first infusion. I have already had osteonecrosis from Xgeva which resulted in surgery. Will have to see a cancer dental surgeon this week.
Zometa is what cause the problems with the jaws and teeth.
Does anyone use a chiropractor who has bone involvement? I would like to have an adjustment as I used to do this before diagnosis regularly. My neck has been stiff from stress and I can tell it needs to be adjusted. My doc said as long as the chiropractor is good shouldn’t be a problem. But I wanted to see what others experienced with using one.
I went to a chiropractor before it was diagnosed with back pain. He had a new technique which was a hammer on my spinal chord. It turns out the pain was from compression fractures. My advice is DON'T… read more
