Yes but Hydrocodone is not, I have gone off of it a couple of times when I ran out and have felt sore and achy but no cravings it doesn't seem to be addictive.
Hi John, I wish I could take naproxen or ibuprofen but can't because of kidney damage from MM. I can take acetaminophen and if that doesn't work, I have 'scripts for morphine and oxycodone.

Does anyone know if pain meds cause weight gain? I take morphine 15 mg 1 pill in morning and 1 at night, also oxycodone 10 mg every 6 hrs if needed.
I hear you. Keeping my weight down is a constant battle. This fatigue doesn't help😏
My doc prescribed Gabapentin. 300mg once a day for a week. Then 2 a day for a week then finally 3a day. How does everyone feel taking it
I couldn't take it. Never worked so doctor switched me to lyrica.
Certain movements or bending triggers the pain.
thanks for the hug
I just got my 4 set of growth factor shots. I’ve been achy through them but this last set has made me nauseous too. Have any of you that had these experienced these things or other reactions.
I feel your pain😟
I have very bad neuropathy due to Induction. Treatment like dexamethasone did really bad things to my muscles. During the day and as I awake in the morning, the underside and even the inside edge of my feet will have very bad cramps. I'll flex my feet to relieve it some. I've just started taking magnesium oxide (250mg daily). I'm also stretching them at the gym but it still has a long way to go.
Any recommendations ?
Thanks
Theraworks really helps
Morphine does wonders for bone pain. Ask your oncologist about morphine.
I've been working down all of my neuropathy pain meds during the last nine months. I was on 1800mg gabapentin daily (600x3) plus 5mg ir-oxy 4x daily. Phased down Gaby to 900, then 300 and then to Lyrica. Phased out Lyrica as well.
I'm trying to phase out the ir-oxy - taking 5mg at 5:30am, the second at 2 - 3pm and the final at 9pm. It gets quite painful and the next dose takes about an hour to quite things down. This is a recent reduction from 4x daily. I expect some of the pain is withdrawal… read more
You're only going to be able to transition with THC if you can handle being high. I was using 300mg immediate release morphine every day for years. Tried to get off it many times with no luck. Only… read more
A year ago, I was given 10mg Ritalin to take daily, to help me during extreme fatigue times. It helped me focus at a time I needed to concentrate on my work. I only took 5 of the 30 pills. It was quite helpful but I was at a point of wanting to get off all meds possible. At that point, the list was very long.
Though I'm doing well physically, I'm finding the aftermath of treatment has really affected my ability to focus on big tasks. I'm a programmer and I do electronics design and… read more
