Once You Were In Remission, What/how Did You Deal With The Bone Damage, Fatigue And Other Remaining Symptoms?
A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

I've completed initial treatment and SCT and I'm now in remission. I am on 10 mg Revlimid for Maintenance. But that takes care of the MM. What about the bone pain, fatigue, etc. that remain? How have you dealt with that? What have your Drs advised, prescribed or recommended? I have pain in my back and one knee and fatigue. A bone density test has revealed Osteoporosis (no real surprise there considering). I've been told that will be treated and see the doctor next week. I've also been… read more

For The Men, Do Anyone Suffer From Severe Groin Pain From All The Way In His Back To Front?
A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone experienced severe groin pain. Without going into to much detail, my husband has severe pain radiating from his back all the way to his groin. No one can tell us what’s causing it. He’s on all this darn pain medication that’s not doing him any good. He take 200 mg of slow release Tramadol, 15mg morphine, Flexerill at bed time to be able to sleep at all. I’m tired of seeing him in all this pain. His myeloma is in check. So if it’s not tge myeloma they just keep sending him from one… read more

Anyone Having Cramps In Their Feet ?
A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have very bad neuropathy due to Induction. Treatment like dexamethasone did really bad things to my muscles. During the day and as I awake in the morning, the underside and even the inside edge of my feet will have very bad cramps. I'll flex my feet to relieve it some. I've just started taking magnesium oxide (250mg daily). I'm also stretching them at the gym but it still has a long way to go.

Any recommendations ?

Thanks

I've Not Seen Much Discussion Here On The Subject Of Pain Management SPECIFICALLY Related To Using Opioids. Why Is That Do You Think?
A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

For instance, I've had severe CPIN for over a decade due to Velcade and the only pain med that helps reduce the pain is Percocet. Any folks here in similar situation? Are you using opioids for pain relief? If so, what is your daily dosage?
