Neuropathy Treatment
A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question đź’

Has anyone heard of or tried Combined Electrochemical treatment (CET) for neuropathy? I have a consult tomorrow with Loma Linda Medical Center here in Southern California to see if is something I would benefit from. Insurance doesn’t cover it, but the consult is free so going to hear what they have to say.

A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question đź’

My doctor prescribed Gabapentin to help, but the neuropathy doesn’t seem much better. I am trying to build strength and not need a walker to get around since my hospital, stay for pneumonia, but the “pillow feet” make me uneasy. Both feet feel numb.

I have had MM for 11 years. I did 6 weeks of Valcade which put me in remission. I the remained on Revlimid for 10 years. I developed neuropathy down the back of my legs. A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question đź’

I just received it to try. It says twice a day, for relief from a few minutes to up to 4 weeks. First application feels good so far. I’ll keep at and see. It would be so nice to cut back on the oxycodone.

I have asked so many times and the only cream they seem to prescribe is Voltaren which does nothing. What works best putting the oil under your tongue the twice a day like it says… read more
