Has anyone heard of or tried Combined Electrochemical treatment (CET) for neuropathy? I have a consult tomorrow with Loma Linda Medical Center here in Southern California to see if is something I would benefit from. Insurance doesn’t cover it, but the consult is free so going to hear what they have to say.
Hi Karen
Here is info from a Google search

If you HAVE NOT had shingles get the vaccine for it please. It’s not an easy thing to cope with. Be surreal to get medical support
My doctor prescribed Gabapentin to help, but the neuropathy doesn’t seem much better. I am trying to build strength and not need a walker to get around since my hospital, stay for pneumonia, but the “pillow feet” make me uneasy. Both feet feel numb.
Has anyone found something that helps more with the neuropathy?
Also, you might try Amitriptyline.
What actions or treatments are working to help alleviate Lower Back Pain and discomfort?
i have lower back pain because of an L1 injury from an accident, back in 2011. If I stand or bend to much, it acts up, but it's not something that is horrible. I noticed when I really don't feel well… read more
I will buy that tomorrow! Thanks Tim. My diabetic Mom swore by putting damp socks in the freezer then wearing them to bed. It was the only way she could fall asleep. My husband won't try it bcause he… read more
I have had MM for 11 years. I did 6 weeks of Valcade which put me in remission. I the remained on Revlimid for 10 years. I developed neuropathy down the back of my legs. They ache, and it is annoying. My doctor decided I might be developing an intolerance to Revlimid so he took me off of it. Two month later my feet began to ache. It feels like I am walking on rocks. I have been taking Neurontin(800 mg 3 x a day). It helps but not enough. My doctor is going to try Lyrica

Yikes. Thank you
I just received it to try. It says twice a day, for relief from a few minutes to up to 4 weeks. First application feels good so far. I’ll keep at and see. It would be so nice to cut back on the oxycodone.
I've used it some. It does seem to help my feet some. It burns and dries out my hands when I apply it - recommend using latex gloves when applying. Found a review that says the same. I'm not using it… read more
Many have mentioned CBD oil for the severe neuropathy. Due to what I believe is the shingles still as I still have sores not completely gone my feet neuropathy is almost to point of wheelchair. It doesn't matter if I sit all day, pain is the same. My feet become candy apple red, throb, burn, tingle and hurt so badly. I have asked so many times and the only cream they seem to prescribe is Voltaren which does nothing. What works best putting the oil under your tongue the twice a day like it says… read more
Does that help any with the leg & feet pains?
Is there an alternative drug to Velcade that doesn't cause neuropathy? I have been on it for only four months and starting to get tingling in hands and feet. Is this reversible? Has anyone experienced this and when did you get off the drug?
CVS or Walgreens carrys Topricin
