Oncologist Is Switching Me From Velcade To Kyprolis, What Should I Expect.
Had my pic line implanted on Friday, doing great - just soreness in my arm. Had it implanted in order to have Kyprolis administered. After two rounds of Velcade, Dex and Revlimid, my doctors are switching me to Kyprolis, Dex and Revlimid. Zometa remains at once a month. I had many side affects from the Velcade, including Neuropathy, brain fog, fatigue, constipation. Also the bone pain never let up throughout. I took revlimid for about year and was in remission
For 2 a half years
Now my light chains are going up
Anyone Taking Kyprolis Which Is Similar To Velcade But Can’t Take Anymore Since Gave Me Neuropathy Called Kyprolis
I hear it could cause heart issues and Dr says I will need to be monitored regularly with EKG to see if my base line changes. Is anyone currently taking this new drug?

Reaction To Kyprolis Evening Of Infusion Of Second Week Of Fifth Cycle And Ended Up In ICU. Have You Had The Same Reactions Stated Below?
My husband had chills and fever, threw up 3 times, increased heart rate, low blood pressure, low platelets, high white blood cells, high creatinine, low eGFR. He was given 2 broad spectrum antibiotics. All blood cultures came back negative after 5 days. He’s recovered, but concerned about proceeding with his sixth and last cycle before bone marrow biopsy. That will be 3 more treatments. Any experience and knowledge on precautions?
Kyprolis didn't work on my myeloma. Just ran my blood pressure up. I'm hoping he recovers completely and is all ready in a great response. 🥰🙏
