Hi everyone, what's your opinion (or your doctor's) on getting re-vaccinated for common vaxs like measles, mumps, etc., after having undergone a successful autologous SCT?

I was in perfect health, well maybe a few pounds overweight. I never took any pills except for my migraines. No high blood pressure no high cholesterol, no history of cancer in my family. I’m the first. I had my blood tests done at my physical in November 2020. Everything was fine, no problem. March and April 2021, I received my Covid vaccines and in November, 2021, I was told I had way to much protein in my blood. I needed to go to an oncologist and was diagnosed with… read more

How do you deal with the isolation?

I don't want to overlook the fact that they are coming out with new vaccines that are more affective against some of the newer variants. I don't know if I should just get the original vaccine or wait for one of the newer ones. I'm curious to know what is being… read more
@A MyMyelomaTeam Member That's interesting. My doctors office told me 2 weeks ago that Evusheld was pulled from the market. Now I'm curious. Thanks for the info.
How long did your doctor recommend that you remain isolated from work/visitors after you went home following your SCT? Thank you
His will take two years to complete. When he had his stem cell transplant done we were given a booklet that told the process. Guess what am reading not every one has the same process.
