A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭
Southwick, MA

My mom is 84, just had to have a "be on the lookout" for her and her vehicle. She was found alive on the side of the road several towns away, 8 hours later out of gas. Even has tv and phone use issues lately. Nothing like this has ever happened. She had been driving and doing her own shopping, banking, ect. Up til now. He… read more

Meds Are Causing Afib

A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭
Cleveland, OH

Currently participating in a 3 drug study for relapsed MM. It has worked great but I now have afib. Constantly have high heart rate, I’m tired all the time. Seeing oncology cardiologist this week. I’ve already had ekg and cardiac mri plus wore a halter for 2 weeks. All tests normal but showed mild afib. I already take blood thinner and beta blocker. So frustrated. I’m thankful my cancer is under control but I hate being so tired all the time.

A MyMyelomaTeam Member

Purchase a Kardia Mobile device and when you are in afib you will be able to email to your dr. the results. That is what I did and it worked. Never showed when I wore the monitor.

My Oncologist Just Sent Me An Email- Anyone Experience This?

A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭
Warrenton, VA

Our practice has implemented a new policy: after cycle 3 of your treatment, you no longer need to continue premedications. You will no longer need to take Dexamethasone, Benadryl, Pepcid, or Tylenol before your treatments.

A MyMyelomaTeam Member

This is actually great news. Your doctor is keeping up with the latest information. I no longer take premeds as part of my Darzalex shot. I do well. 😁
