I would just like to find out what others take that actually works without making symptoms worse before they get better.
Do anybody suffer with severe neuropathy pain as a result of the chemo received doing treatment and the stem cells transplant. Well I do every day. In addition to that every now and then the severe pain becomes worst than normal. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the worst it’s a 10 or more. I’m in that stat now as I write this with pain that brought tears to my eyes so I’m struggling to do this because for once I need an answer. Sometimes I feel alone when it happens. Please i have to know is… read more

Off and on I’ve been having pain in my right big toe. The pain is constant now it started about two weeks ago and nothing seems to help to relief the pain. I have a severe case of neuropathy due to the chemo I received during treatment and the super chemo I received during my BMT. I will see my Oncologist on October 31st and will have her check it while I’m there. I am very concerned and pray that it is nothing serious. Please pray for me and God bless you all!

How much Lyrica are people using per day to help with Neuropathy?
What side effects?
What other Meds are you taking with Lyrica to also reduce Neuropathy?
Are you experiencing swelling of your hands and fingers due to Lyrica - if so how do you deal with it?

For at least two months… read more
Has anyone seen a neurologist for peripheral neuropathy caused by chemo and do you see the need for it? Also has anyone tried the natural remedies like massage therapy, acupuncture, yoga or exercise for it and does it seem to help? Mine may be in the earlier stages but it seems to be getting worse. Thank you
I may give massage and PT a try! I was so active before I was diagnosed so want to start building up my endurance! Thanks

I take gabapentin for my feet but it doesn’t take all the pain away. In fact, I have pain in my legs. It helps but doesn’t take all the pain away.😞
Drugs treatment plan was Revlimid, Velcade, Dexaethasone. I stopped the Velcade once numbness and tingling got worse. I continue now with lower dose of Revlimid and Dexaethasone. The pain in my feet has gotten worse and have tried natural remedies but no relief. Dr prescribed Gabapentin and have taken now for a few weeks but was told it takes longer before I would notice if it’s helping. Had some bad side effects so now taking Lyrica which seems to be helping to take the burning sensation away… read more

My husband was diagnosed with MM in September of 2019. He received one high dose of radiation for the fist size tumor in his ribs, and then started the Velcade shot once a week, along with the Revlemid (14 days on, 7 days off) and the Dexamethason. 5 Weeks ago, he started getting cramps in his feet and tingling in his hands. He told his Oncologist about it, when he received the weekly Velcade shot. The following week, the pain had worsened and the Dr. took him off the Velcade right away… read more
