I want to get a massage for body aches but read somewhere if you have cancer, they tell you not to get massages. Has anyone read or heard of this. I am in stage 4 terminal, I do not qualify for any treatment other than Revlimid, dexamethasone, acyclovir, darzalex, Aranesp for my anemia due to all my other medical conditions. No radiation. no cell therapy, etc.I have holes in my spine, my neack and a hole in my skull.
Awe thinking of you. I have heard massages aren't a good idea for us with mm. I hope you have a really great Year!
Is anyone taking DT
If so, how much daily and how often. I've read articles that it should be taken for 2 weeks and then off for 10 days and others that say daily and amounts from a teaspoon to a 2 tablespoons.
Recently started with 275mg capsules which are 1/8th teaspoon. Taking 4 daily, so 1/2 teaspoon daily to start. May change to the bulk powder (a word of caution - its very dangerous to inhale the powder and it must be Human Grade).
Its purpose is to clear out gut parasites.

My doctor says I’m stage two and must have high-dose chemo, then a stem cell transplant, and will not discuss other options. What have you tried?
You should have a doctor that will discuss other options. They will always try to get you to do what they feel is best but you have the ultimate decision. My husband's doctors were talking stem cell… read more
2 months into maintenance with after complete remission. Anyone else had hives with Rev and what were your alternatives. Appt with transplant doctor in 10 days.
I did call. Have stopped all meds and rash much better. I suppose will rechallenge and see if rash occurs again as Rev seems to be the best maintenance option and I need to know if I can take it.
Has anyone successfully received an alternative work schedule ADA accommodation for Smoldering Myeloma? I am repeatedly failing in my requests to alter my work schedule in order to allow me time to seek treatments that may slow the advancement of my SMM. I prefer not to sit by idly while waiting for the disease to advance. I would like some time to actively pursue potential life extending events, training, retreats, on my own reading, prayer and establish myself as a patient with the best Cancer… read more
