Everyone tells me I should feel great after a red blood transfusion. I feel wiped out and depressed sad. Even after a platelet transfusion I feel terrible. I feel exhausted.

Brother is at Day+10 post SCT and received a blood transfusion today. He also had platelets given the last two days.
WBC's up to 00.5 from yesterdays 0.01
HCT (red blood cell volume) down to 20.6 from yesterdays 23.
Platelets up from 7 and 7 past two days to 14 today.

He orders transfusions. Usually when I go for the tests it is at 6.1 to 5.5 and I am super weak plus needing oxygen to function. I do not have an oncologist, he dismissed me as untreatable. Is there anyone else on here who is going this route?? How many times can I have trasfusions??
Exactly my thoughts also. It’s like when my dr. phones me to tell me that I have cancer.
Does anyone get low RBC,hemoglobin and platlets from treatment or just in General? What does your doctor do?

I am off medication. As I was diagnosed with anemia. Have had blood transfusion. I will also get 6 injection 18 weeks.has anyone else had this
