Juliet, I bet you feel rough. That's a lot for one day. You're probably aching all over! Drink lots of water and take Tylenol if it's okay with your doctor. Hang in there it does get better 🥰

Is it normal to feel sick after receiving zoledronic acid (IV), a Neulasta injection, bortezomib injection, and pomalidomide 2mg all on the same day?

That is a lot hitting your system at once — feeling unwell afterward is very understandable. Each of these treatments can cause side effects on their own, so receiving them together on the same day can really stack up. Common side effects that can come from these treatments include:

- Nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea
- Fatigue and weakness
- Fever
- Bone or muscle aches (especially after zoledronic acid and Neulasta)
- Headache
- Loss of appetite
- Shortness of breath

These symptoms can overlap and feel more intense when multiple treatments are given the same day. It's really important to let your care team know how you're feeling. Some side effects are easier to manage when caught early. Contact them right away if you experience:

- A high fever or chills
- Severe or persistent vomiting/diarrhea
- Trouble breathing
- Signs of dehydration (dizziness, very dark urine, no urination)
- Severe pain

Speaking up about side effects is not complaining — it's a key part of managing your treatment well. Your team can often prescribe something to help ease the discomfort.
