Serge, does walking help your appetite?

Serge,
Find something that you like and that might help you eat. My aunt who had cancer loved Kentucky Fried Chicken’ mashed potatoes and gravy. That’s all I would buy her. She also like Chinese noodles. Colorful food can be appetizing, like a beautiful salad.

First of all, 2½ years in remission on Tecvayli is genuinely worth celebrating! 🎉 Appetite changes are a known and common side effect of Tecvayli, so you're definitely not alone in experiencing this.

There are a few reasons this can happen while on treatment:

- Tecvayli can cause nausea, weight loss, and general appetite changes
- Fatigue from treatment can also reduce the desire to eat
- Taste changes can make food feel less appealing Here are some practical tips that may help:

- Tell your care team — they can check for treatable causes like anemia or medication side effects
- Eat when energy is highest — appetite often fluctuates throughout the day
- Try different flavors, textures, and food temperatures to find what appeals to you
- Ask about a dietitian referral to help maintain enough calories and protein
- Stay hydrated — sometimes thirst is mistaken for lack of hunger

It's really important to flag ongoing appetite loss with your doctor, especially if you're losing weight, so they can help manage it properly.
