I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma 11 years ago. I started taking a infusion once a month and now a receive a shot in the stomach. This year my back started hurting. It started bothering me and has got worse. Now it is really painful. How do I manage the pain?

11 years that is awesome I am happy and blessed that I got 22 months in so far. On October 4th my birthday i will have 23 months on this journey. Then on November 4th,2026 will be 2 years of my diagnosis and I will be in Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland OH to get my blood cells put back in.
My good Lord and Savior has brought me so far.
I hope I can make it a few more years to be with my family especially my great grandchildren.
Thank you Dennis for sharing your journey and if there is anything else you can share not just with me but everyone in this group it will be greatly appreciated. Even the tinniest things some times hel. I get anxious about thinking of the future.
Thanks for listening to me vent on her or rattle on.everyone have a blessed night.

Back pain is actually very common with myeloma and can have several causes, including bone changes, fractures in the spine, or even side effects from certain treatments.
