Skarona,
I refused Zometa. It stops the bone building process and makes the bones brittle and can cause jaw death. I take 1400 mg of MRM Bone Maximizer which is Calcium and Magnesium. I take extra D3 & K2 which helps absorb the calcium and K2 tells it to go to the bones.

Im off bone strengthening as i had a jaw issue now my endocrinologist abd my oncologist say its safe for me to try a certain bone strengthening med but my D is too low im taking 50,000 iu of vitamin D2 for months and its not improving yet

I have calked hss tgree times and they keep telling me to call a different department In 2005 and 2010 i had spinal reconstruction from a car accident no myeloma then HSS keeps telling me that i am complicated as i have 20 screws in my back and fusion shoulders to hips ill call tge main number on Tuesday
