I'm asking because my immunity seems low in " real-time". I get sick or .....tired easily.
Seems like a prerecording but I've had the above problem and it's not getting better after being off treatment for almost 5 years. Thyroid numbers are normal.
I don't have MM but I have MGUS with very low immunoglobulins no IGa anymore and very very low igg2 and igg3 so I was very often ill but it all improved after supporting no cells and t cells so they could partly take over the function of the immunoglobulins. To achieve better function of NK and T cells I take every morning Biobran (please ask chatgpt) and every evening AHCC ;
Biobran and AHCC: What Are They?
Biobran (Modified Rice Bran Arabinoxylan Compound, MGN-3)
Biobran is a proprietary dietary supplement made from rice bran that has been enzymatically modified using extracts from shiitake mushrooms. The process produces a compound rich in arabinoxylan, a type of polysaccharide believed to have immune-modulating properties.
Researchers have investigated Biobran for its potential to:
* Enhance the activity of natural killer (NK) cells, which help identify and destroy abnormal cells.
* Improve the function of macrophages, dendritic cells, and T lymphocytes.
* Reduce inflammation and oxidative stress in some settings.
* Support quality of life during chemotherapy or radiotherapy.
Clinical studies suggest that Biobran can improve certain immune parameters, but there is currently no convincing evidence that it can treat or cure cancer, including monoclonal gammopathies such as MGUS or multiple myeloma. It is generally well tolerated.

AHCC (Active Hexose Correlated Compound)
AHCC is a proprietary nutritional supplement produced by fermenting the mycelia (root-like structures) of several mushroom species, primarily shiitake (Lentinula edodes). Unlike ordinary mushroom extracts, AHCC contains a high concentration of alpha-glucans, which are thought to be highly bioavailable.
AHCC has been studied for its potential to:
* Enhance innate and adaptive immune function.
* Increase NK cell activity.
* Improve dendritic cell and T-cell responses.
* Reduce the frequency of certain infections.
* Support recovery from chemotherapy-related immune suppression.
One area of active research is persistent human papillomavirus (HPV) infection, where some small clinical studies have reported encouraging results. However, larger studies are still needed.
Like Biobran, AHCC has not been proven to treat cancer, although it is widely used as a complementary supplement by some cancer patients under medical supervision.
In my personal experience, it has helped me tremendously by reducing the frequency of my infections, to the point where they have almost completely stopped.
I receive IVIG treatment often, and have for years. I have pretty persistent low immunoglobulin numbers.
Low immunoglobulin levels (also called hypogammaglobulinemia) are a real concern with myeloma, even when off treatment. Myeloma disrupts normal plasma cell function, which means the body produces fewer healthy antibodies — leaving you more vulnerable to infections and contributing to fatigue.

Then I don't know what's going on with me......thank you DG and HI....👋
My gamma globulin level was 0.5 on June 19th. Normal is 0.6 - 1.7 g/dL.
