Lymphatic drainage massage is something several MyMyelomaTeam members have explored as a complementary therapy alongside their myeloma treatment. Some have found it helpful for managing side effects like neuropathy, reporting real relief from symptoms.

One MyMyelomaTeam member shared that massage and acupuncture were genuinely life-changing for them in managing neuropathy-related discomfort. Complementary therapies like massage are generally considered safe when used alongside standard myeloma treatment, but there are some important things to keep in mind:

- Always check with your oncologist first before starting lymphatic massage, as some therapies may interact with your current treatment
- Timing matters — certain complementary therapies should be avoided around stem cell transplants
- Massage is best used as a *complement* to medical care, not a replacement

It's worth having an open conversation with your care team, as many major medical centers now have integrative therapy departments that can guide you safely.

Hi
It is usually done by a lymphatic trained person at a spa. Usually a wellness spa which offers lots of the usual spa services , reflexology, all other body, facial massages. I. Hoping it will help with getting the toxins backpack, swelling in feet and joint pain.
Hope that helps some.
😊
