Priscilla,
Are you still Smoldering? I am and I have neuropathy going up my arms and legs. I never had UTI’s until now. Our immune system is so low, infections are more common. When was the last time your MM Specialist ordered blood tests? You should be getting them every 3 months. I’m taking B complex vitamins and extra B12 for the neuropathy. Also, Nutritional Yeast which naturally has lots of B vitamins in it.

I had recurring UTIs in my younger and healthier days. This supplement was recommended and I’ve not had one since. I continue to take with my doctors blessings! It’s all natural. From Amazon: D-Mannose 1000mg Per Serving - Cranberry & Hibiscus - Effective Fast-Acting, Flush The Impurities for Bladder, Urinary Tract Health Support Supplement, for Women and Men, USA Bottled - 180 Capsules
I take two a day. Since I started treatments, I seem to urinate more frequently. I pray I continue to be UTI free and that this might help you! 🙏
It's great that you brought this up with your hematologist — those are important symptoms to flag. The increasing numbness in your hands and feet is likely related to peripheral neuropathy (PN), which is very common with myeloma. Around 75% of people with myeloma develop it at some point.
PN can be caused by two things:
I see my hematologist every 2 months for blood test I just saw him on Friday the 26th he ordered the biopsy and pet scan
