Sally, 3 months into treatment I went into remission, I have now completed my 2 year cycle.

I was diagnosed at age 67 in March '24 of Stage 3 MM, I opted out of SCT and have been in remission since June '24. Tolerating treatments well, asymptomatic with no side effects from treatments.

Three months into treatment surprised they would even test for MRD negativity.
Even if you are, I would not suggest stopping maintenance treatments for at least two years. MM comes back with a vengeance

Leslie, My blood work is good, no MM progression since 3 months into my treatments. Just waiting to see if I am MRD negative to stop all treatments. Did you get a Cloneseq test to determine if you were MRD negative? I am also at Kaiser, and this is their protocol.

Rick, we're all different. My onclogist took me off chemo when my bloodwork showed no sign of chemo in 2010. My insurer and health care provider are Kaiser Permanente. There is no profit motive in treating me. In fact, I cost them.

What does your bloodwork show?

Please Google ProPublica: the price of remission.

As a cop, I saw bad cops, lawyers, judges, doctors, pharmacists, preachers, politicians, and even an evil mortician.

Right now, I do trust folks with Multiple Myeloma because I know what their motives are.

I'm wrong a lot, but I don't lie.
