I've had pretty steady low hemoglobin issues since being on various treatments since July 2024. Had 4 transfusions in that timeframe. In deep response (remissions) now with hemoglobin dropping from 10.5 to 8.5 which is the point where I begin hearing my heart pound in my ear with serious fatigue. Will start monthly Darbepoetin injections on Wednesday with the possibility of a transfusion if labs show it drops to 7.4 or below.

Im sorry you had to experience this and at a younger age we are warriors keep fighting and talk to your dr about any concerns

Mine was 8.7 Friday. That’s the highest it’s been since I went in the hospital on January 16th. I had a transfusion this past Monday bc I was at 7.0. Im just beginning this journey at 49 years old.

my is at 9.1 my doctor wants me on procrit twice a month, but I am very scared of that shot. took it for a year and a half and decided to stop for awhile...
