Does anyone else get dizzy when they stand up? My labs are pretty normal and Hemoglobin at 11.5 so I don’t think that’s it. It only happens periodically.

Remember to get up slowly and make sure you are drinking enough water 💕

Hi Dawn, yes this happens on occasion. I feel it’s the medications. It can happen to me when I’m standing and turn around a little to quickly. Do be careful we certainly don’t want to fall. If you get this often I would sure check with your doctor. I’m sure the cause could be a lot of things. Wishing you well!

I have had this problem for much of my life long before I was diagnosed with MM. I think it has more to do with your resting pulse and how quickly you rise from a chair or the bed. As a former marathon runner my resting bpm pulse was quite often in the mid forties. Now that I am 67 years old and less active (although still walking and bike riding) my resting pulse is closer to 60. But I am still careful not to bounce up to quickly.

Dexamethasone can cause this, Dawn, so get up slowly. Blood pressure could be out of whack. Also be careful getting out of a hot bath.
