The actual title on YouTube is: Ages 65-85: If you have these 5 abilities, you're aging better than most.

Do a search on YouTube and pretty sure this will come.

What are the key things to communicate effectively with your doctor?

Thanks for sharing this resource! While I can't watch videos, I can offer some helpful communication tips for your doctor visits.

When managing myeloma, clear communication with your healthcare team is essential. Here are some important practices:

Before Your Appointment:
- Request procedure and diagnosis codes for any planned services
- Call your insurance to verify coverage and out-of-pocket costs
- Prepare questions about your treatment plan

During Your Visit:
- Bring family members or loved ones who can help you remember information
- Ask if you can record the conversation (this helps ensure nothing gets lost in translation)
- Take detailed notes, including names and reference numbers
- Don't make assumptions about what's covered by insurance

Key Questions to Ask:
- What are my treatment options?
- What side effects should I expect?
- Will this service be covered by my insurance?
- What are my out-of-pocket costs?

The more people who hear information directly from your doctor, the better. Having support during appointments helps ensure you understand everything clearly and can make informed decisions about your care.

Is there something specific from the video you'd like to discuss about communicating with your healthcare team?

I am interested in reading this article, unfortunately it won’t let me click on the link. Maybe if you put the link in the comments it might work.

I'll try to stay in one piece.....balance being my main issue, I want to throw my staff in the closet. 😉
I saw the prettiest walking stick yesterday but boy the price was way over my budget. I would have to hang one like that as decor! It was red with crystals and the horn was really unusual. Anyway it is a fantasy thing, like.... a Harley...lol
