I think the treatments cause hearing loss. Mine has really gone down since my diagnosis. I have terrible tinnitus as well

I went through hearing tests. There is some hearing loss. My doctor said when I have a cold it affects my ears. I had an infection and was put on Amoxicillin and it cleared it up.

Not that I'm happy about what I've read, but I will show my doc that many others have tinnitus caused by pharmaceuticals made to help with getting our situation into remission. I have a tea kettle hissing in my ears 24/7. I keep the TV on hoping to fall asleep. Tinnitus and insomnia, a wonderful combination.

I had tinnitus a long time before MM diagnosis. However, tinnitus and hearing loss, dizziness and balance issues increased over years of MM treatments. Thankfully hearing aides help with hearing. Working on balance issues and vertigo with physical therapist. I encourage team members to advocate for yourself in terms of treatment and getting relief from other things that crop up on this journey.

Only you know how you feel and how much discomfort or distress you can live with. If you're not able to speak up consistently for yourself, get help.

My treatment team is very proactive, considerate and cooperative in getting appropriate treatment for whatever presents.
