I also am on 10mg of Revlimid for maintenance therapy. Thirteen months now…. I try to be patient with side effects & look at it as ‘it just is.’ It seems to be doing its job of keeping numbers low so I figure it’s one of those trade offs. I doubt that any cancer meds feel good. You should discuss with your oncologist if you have extreme side effects as there are other options.🤗
I’m on 10 mg of revlimid and usually take nap 2-5 hours after getting up. Yes. It makes me tired. Going to ask for 5 mg
I am on 10mg of Revlimid and have no side effects other than low platelet count. I am 2 weeks on and 1 week off. They go down to about 100. My Doctors gives me an extra week off when they are down and they go right back up.
Hi Joy,
I'm on maintenance with 5mg Revlimid and have the same fatigue/weariness issues. You might tell your ONC you would like to try 5mg for a cycle or two to see if the issue resolves. I have IgG-kappa myeloma and achieved remission two months ago. Every myeloma patient has a different experience and the only really solid advice I have is to keep trying different protocols (after achieving remission) until you find a a "fit". If your ONC disagrees it may be wise to find a different ONC.
BTW - as far as I can tell Revlimid and the two other lenalidomide drugs are all manufactured in different plants in India. IOW - Revlimid, Dr.Reddy's and MYLAN are all made to FDA standards in separate locations in India. FDA inspectors are not on site continuously and you can expect variations from batch to batch. Read the bottle label carefully and you can trace out the plant location.
Yes I’m on a 10mg a day Revlimid. Three weeks on & 1 off. I’m told joint pain, fatigue, & aching muscles are all a part of that. Truthfully, there’s so much pain & aching with myeloma…. Hard to tell the difference🥹
