want to share a little update about my journey. Recently I went for a CT scan of my lungs, and today the doctor explained the results to me. They found some changes in my left lung compared to before. There are areas where the lung lining looks thicker, and a small mass in the lower part of the left lung has grown a bit since my last scan. Because of these changes, the doctors want to do another test called a bronchoscopy, where they use a small camera to look inside the airways and take samples to understand it better. Hearing all this was not easy for me. It made me emotional because it feels like one thing after another. But at the same time, I am thankful that I am already under medical care and the doctors are taking steps to find out exactly what

I have issue in both of my ears and I am hearing insects sound like crickets sound and bees buzzing sometimes car horns nonstop. Checked with the ear doctor and she said in normal condition because of too much of multiple medication.
And now my hearing not so good.
Someone’s talking to me at two meter away and I said can you say again please 🙏 🤦‍♀️

ME, 24/7.same sounds and sometimes very loud, depending on a cold, stress, or even..caffeine.
I can sleep but as soon as I wake, there it is.Daytime I'm distracted, so I don't hear it.mostly. Occasionally I hear a low pitched ...rumbling. I go outdoors to make sure that I'm not hearing it from the road or a neighbor running a motor. This can last an hour or so.
I had tinnitus since 2011, but not this bad or without a let up, so I can only guess it worsened from MM/treatment

It's from loud noises, equipment, trucks, and gunfire. Some of it probably came from my wife yelling at me. If you happen to be a former military member there is disability compensation. I should have put in for it fifty years ago, I'm 84 and off chemo since 2010, Yes sir there's sunshine out here.

I have tinnitus in the left ear and our NHS has given me a hearing aid to help with it.

Hearing aids for me after induction. I hate it. I used to automatically respond to my wife with "huh". Now I'm more sensitive and say I'm sorry I can't hear you. And its not because I'm not paying attention. I actually cannot hear. It sux.

Thank you, thank you for this question and the subsequent answers. Last April I started a new regimen which includes Dexamethasone, Cytoxan and KYPROLIS. I was worried about hair loss, but the unknown that would develop was tinnitus! At first, I thought my sinuses were giving me issues. After several months, I was finally able to identify what was happening. I hear a constant high pitched whine in my right ear. The ENT explained I have lost the ability to hear high pitched sounds in that ear. The tinnitus sound is coming from my brain. (evidently, when the brain isn't sensing something, it replaces it with something else) I had an MRI prior to Christmas to rule out acoustic neuroma. Thankfully, there is no acoustic neuroma, which is essentially a brain tumor. (early Christmas present!)
If you search online, a less frequent side effect of Kyprolis is tinnitus. Mine is better when I am distracted with something. I have found wearing Loops ear plugs helps when I vacuum, as some loud noises are downright painful now. I've also noticed "pain" when I play my upright piano. The ear plugs don't seem to help with this. About the only thing I can do is use the damper pedal.
Thank you again for posing this question. It's a comfort to know others are experiencing this issue. Blessings everyone!!
