@A MyMyelomaTeam Member Hi Pam I had cataract surgery in the middle of my MM treatment and everything went very smoothly. You will be amazed how well you will be able to see. I never thought I’d be able to do cataract surgery as I’m so squeamish about my eyes but I amazed myself it was very easy and no pain. Wishing you all the best!
I had cataract surgery over a year ago with no issues. My oncologist determined what the best time to have surgery was. In my case it was two weeks after my immunotherapy treatment. The eye doctor concurred. Instead of having eyes done a week apart my eyes were done two days apart.
DavisBingham, I am praying that I achieve the same results as you did! My optometrist is confident that the procedure will restore my vision to where I won’t even need glasses. That would be wonderful. 🙏 I meet with the cataract surgeon tomorrow, with the blessing of my oncologist!
Ron had cataract surgery last year and can't stop being amazed at the improvement in his vision, now 20/20.
I had cataract surgery on both eyes 21 years ago when I was 75. All has gone well since then. God bless you, George. Keep us updated.
