My transplant was 8 years ago on December 20th. I've been on some pretty strong maintenance the entire time. Darzalex with Pomalyst. I have high risk disease. So, I'm very grateful to be in control for this long.

I had SCT July 2022. Relapsed fall 2023. Been in a clinical trial since 1-2-24 and am MRD Negative. My MM is aggressive. 2 years next Friday!!

So glad you are in remission Thomas. It seems these drugs work on MM but cause so many other things. It is a double edged sword.

Everyone's myeloma is very different. How we respond to treatment is different for each of us. Jean, I'm sorry your sister lost her battle. So many treatments have come out since we were diagnosed.

Since my diagnosis in July 2015 there have been so many new drugs! I started pomalyst an immunomodulatory drug and dara faspro a monoclonal antibody drug November 2023 and was back in remission June 2023. Those came out after I was diagnosed. I am sure there will be more drugs approved!
