I’ve managed to get a PET scan and a Bone marrow biopsy just have to wait for the appointments to come through,at least I’ll know then if it’s come back or not or if my symptoms are normal for this disease and the tablets I’m taking.Thank you for the hug and support I’m sending you a big one back and all the very best on your journey 😘 xxx

Carol,
Are you seeing a Hematologist/Oncologist who Specializes in MM? Wether you are or aren’t , It sounds like you need a second opinion. Your Oncologist would be happy to refer you or you can look at the list of MM Specialists on The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation website. HTTPS://www.themmrf.org
My first 2 Oncologists were not MM Specialists and after doing lots of research, I knew more than they did about MM. That’s a scary feeling. They refused to do another Bine Marrow Biopsy, when the first one did not have enough of a sample to test. I was right in asking for another, because I had progressed. MM Specialists know which tests to order and what treatment to prescribe. You deserve to have a knowledgeable doctor.
