Does Revlimid raise glucose levels?

While Revlimid (lenalidomide) can cause various side effects, elevated glucose levels aren't commonly listed among its typical side effects. However, if you're taking Revlimid along with dexamethasone (a steroid often used in myeloma treatment), that combination could affect your blood sugar.

Steroids like dexamethasone are known to raise glucose levels and can impact how your body processes sugar. Since Revlimid is frequently used together with dexamethasone in myeloma treatment, this combination might be contributing to changes in your glucose levels.

If you're noticing elevated glucose readings, it's important to discuss this with your oncologist. They can help determine whether it's related to your treatment regimen and suggest appropriate management strategies. Don't make any changes to your medications without consulting your doctor first.
