I was wondering if any of you have knee pain? I was told I need a knee replacement. But it seems like its the ailment of the month when I speak to my friends. So far 4 friends had a replacement last month age ranging from 65 to 87. I was given a Durolane gel injection last November that was very painful, but helped after a month. I need another injection. I had both knees replaced last year. Yes, it's hard, but it improved my quality of life. I was very strong before I started because of strength training, so PT only added to it. I didn't have a problem with PT at all. I just had an appointment last week for my one-year follow-up and passed with flying colors! The one exercise that helps the most with bending the knee before and after the surgery is a stationary bike.

Yes, my left knee has been bothering me! I used ice and heat to make it feel better, took it easy for 2 weeks, even tried a knee brace and extra strength Tylenol. I’m finally feeling like it is almost back to normal.
My wife had both knees and one hip done. Does not have myoloma

If you’re in remission do you still receive monthly maintenance therapy? If so, what do you receive?
