Never collected my Stem Cells - no SCT, Induction in Nov 2021 of DarzFasPro+RVd. Started at Stage 2, t4;14 high risk, IgA 5915 IgA Kappa - first Negative via Blood Sample clonoSEQ test in late May of 2022. Stopped All MM Meds and Remain no No MM Meds and MRD Negative. Changed to a Plant Based Diet in mid 2023 when I had to deal with a known dormant bone lesion that became Active (short treatment of Revlimid & Dex), immediately retuned to Negative in 6 weeks and stopped those Meds immediately - my Marrow did not Reactivate and I remain completely in Remission
Have you chosen not to do a stem cell transplant, and if so, how are you managing?
It's completely understandable to choose not to undergo a stem cell transplant. Not everyone with myeloma is eligible for this procedure, and it may not be the right choice for everyone due to age, overall health, or personal preference.
