My wife will be starting treatment soon. Unfortunately she also has asthma. We’re anxious aboutwhat kind of complications and side effects might happen with the asthma only partially managed. Treatment starts with a regimen of Daralex FasPro and dexamethasone. Anyone been in a similar situation? More severe breathing problems? Other issues? Many thanks.
My asthma has been well controlled, but over the past week or so, I have noticed I am wheezing quite a bit more than usual. Change of season? Stress? It couldn't be related to treatment yet because I just started treatment yesterday.
Talk to your cancer specialist. I hate to say it, but I rarely go to my GP. Everything goes through my Oncologist. We have an on line thing called My Chart. All my SSM doctors can see what's going on.
I also have asthma and am starting treatment this week. Tomorrow I have Treatment Class, and this is one of the questions I am going to ask. I take Treligy Elipta daily, and my question is that since I will be getting Dexamethazone, do I continue with the Treligy, which also has a part corticosteroid in it? I'll get back to you tomorrow with the answer I get.
I have mild asthma, with no side effects from my mm meds
I’ve had asthma my whole life. I didn’t have any problem to speak of during any treatments I’ve had.
