I agree Filomena, my blood counts are low from Revlimid but having red meat once a week brings them into the normal categories without any known side effects.

I really think we are in a catch 22 situation with red meat. I was not eating much and I ended up with a Vitamin A and iron deficiency. I think the best route is not to over indulge ie don't have a steak for dinner every night. If you do cut red meat out of your date make sure you are getting you iron and Vit A from other sources.
