Gentle exercise and massage therapy has helped me with body stiffness and pain. Walking and swimming too.

Thats great that your scans are clear. No broken bones, etc. But it does not explain the back pain. Many times the pain is from lesions (holes) in the bones caused by the myeloma but they should show up on the scans. if you are unable to manage the pain with OTC medications, then see what your oncologist can provide. Or you can work with a local Palliative Care facility and see if you can work with a pain management specialist.
Good luck. I hope you get some relief.

I was constantly in pain and realized that since my diagnosis I sit more than I used to After discussing with MM oncologist I am once again going to physical therapy and realize that I seriously need to excersise the rest of my life. My focus is to lose weight, walk more, and am joining a gym. Just going to PT has reduced the pain already.

@A MyMyelomaTeam Member I have had constant lower lumbar pain since my diagnosis in July, 2024. I agree with everything posted so far and will add that a palliative specialist has helped me tremendously by prescribing pain meds that have greatly improved my quality of life. We meet regularly to discuss how I'm doing and how best to deal with the risks of taking opioids to manage pain. I hope you find a solution for yourself soon.

Take those scans to your local Orthopaedic doctor. They may find some small herniations that the Oncologists don’t look for.
