I live just a few miles south of you. I see Dr. Reece Jones, Southern Cancer Center, he has been treating me for 9 years. He knows MM very well. I also go to M D Anderson once year for an annual checkup. I know for a fact if it wasn't for Dr. Jones, M D Anderson and my wife I would not be here. I really hope this helps, but I'd check into both of these. Prayers to you.

Thanks Donna! We now have Amtrak that goes from where I live in Al. to New Orleans in just two hours twice a day, verses my 6 - 7 hour drive to Atlanta.
I have been thinking that if I have to start going more often to a MM specialist, then finding a doctor closer to me would make things easier.

I see Dr. Nooka also. Since 2017. He has kept me going😉

Thanks for your reply. I read that Oshner Health and MD Anderson are clinically integrated now, hence my interest in going to New Orleans.
I have been going to Windship Cancer Institute in Atlanta once a year. I have a good doctor there. Dr Nooka.
I have not started any kind of treatment since I am still smouldering but I am looking at my options for the future that would be more convenient without losing the quality of care that Windship Cancer Institute can provide.
