Key Lab Markers below. My natural treatment plan continues to be a plant based diet, no animal products, 120 Oz per day or more of lemon water for kidneys, coupled with a plant based ‘so clean so lean’ plant protein powder (per Dr. Brandy) (3, 40 Oz thermoses per day) daily exercise, reduce stress, and let go and let god handle the rest.

I don't take a multivitamin.

For a year, I was eating large sheets of seaweed (around 8"x10") that I was buy at Whole Foods. I actually over did it (3 to 5 packages a week) and after some time, I iodine became too high. Finally it showed as slightly elevate thyroid and a tiny MSpike in the IgG band (I was IgA). Once I stopped the excessive seaweed intake, in a month I improved and by two months, my thyroid was normal and my tiny IgG MSpike was gone.

I take a heaping tablespoon of Trader Joe's Nutritional Yeast (NY) daily, in a small glass of organic OJ, with 5 grams of creatine monohydrate, for well over 2 years now. The NY has plenty of important B Vits but its B12 is the cyanotype not the methyltype. For getting Methyl B12, I daily take 5000mcgs of Kirkland B12 and 2000mg of Kirkland Vit C (both chew tablets).

I also take a Jarrow Brand B12 Methyl (1000mcg)+Folate Methyl (400mcg) - this for only about a year now.

Daily Coffee includes a heaping tablespoon of Navista Cacao powder and 1/2 teaspoon of Ceylon Cinnamon with some Oatly (oat) Milk.

Daily, I get an Orgain, sugar free, Plant Based 20 gram Protein, shake (w/ 50 superfoods of veggies, etc).

During the past year, I've been adding in organic sourced high quality protein. EU Organic Salmon (once a month and plan to go to twice monthly). Organic Pastured Raised Eggs - had been 2 eggs once a week or ever two weeks. Now 3 eggs, once or twice weekly. Just recently, for the first time in 2 years, organic chicken breast and recently organic ground chicken in spaghettis and again in a veggie chili.

Since I've remained MRD Negative and I get full monthly Labs, I'm adding quality protein to support lean muscle health. Turns out a common thread of those in the Blue Zones that live well to 100+ includes large amounts of protein (avoiding red meat, except for rare occasions).

I'd keep an eye on your MSpike with Monthly Labs. If it continues to increase, get a PET/CT or a whole body MRI (no radiation) or a skeletal survey or just a CT. Point being to make sure you don't have an Active Bone Lesion - Bone Lesions can become Bone Tumors that can become very fast Acting destructive acid-like and spreads quickly.

Marrow based Activity is a very slow burn and can be worked on without Any MM Meds for years and it's able to be improved on by LifeStyle changes.

Bone Lesion Tumors are extremely Fast Acting and quickly spread and are quite dangerous. When my left arm Bone Lesion Tumor had become quite bad (but only 0.93 MSpike), I was in plenty of pain at the top of my left arm. Fortunately, the Revlimid and Dex, with the support of my Diet and Supplements, killed-off my Bone Lesion in a week. My new imaging PET/CT at 12 days after starting treatment, showed the Bone was completely healed and my Labs confirmed with matching values (quickly increased ALK/Phos and quickly dropping MSpike and related inflammation markers).

Part 2:

Again, some may not agree with that and for those people they can supplement as they see fit. But this did help me and would fall in line with the plant based diet. In fact, as you know you must supplement these with plant based anyway.

Beets would be my next suggestion. When I was plant based I ate beets daily. While beets aren’t as good as liver they do help. They did tick my numbers up. I’ve just started eating beets again myself just because I love them. But if he doesn’t there are beer supplements also.

Also, ChlorOxygen is something I use daily. It says use 18 drops. I use 12. It contains chlorophyll and copper. He should get his copper levels tested. Like iron, we don’t want too much. But many people are actually deficient in copper and this can inhibit RBC production. This is why I like ChlorOxygen. I’ve also seen Dr Conneally recommend it to her cancer patients and she runs one of the best alternative cancer treatment centers in the US. This falls in like with plant based diet also.

My RBC and HGB dipped a lot when I first started supplementing with high dose curcumin. I was already anemic so that didn’t help. This is when I realized if we take all these things that chelates iron, we must bump iron up a little. I would never take an iron supplement. I would much rather get it with liver, personally. But he can do as he likes as I’ve provided a few options that should fit well for him.

Lastly, he must have adequate B6 for RBC production. I go back to Seeking Health for this. I just take their multi-B vitamin. They even have one with B12 and folate. I take those separately though so I can scale back if they get too high. I know a lot of people are afraid of B vitamins. I think it’s unfounded really. If you’re not eating meat you like need them. And you don’t have to go super high in dosage.

His numbers look pretty good. Def wanna keep an eye on that ratio. He needs to make sure he’s drinking plenty of water and it needs to be filtered of course. I would also suggest using a trace mineral to make sure you don’t dehydrate yourself (him) drinking too much water. That’s a thing. I personally like Quinton Minerals. I use the Hypertonic ones. Baja Gold is another great brand. And ConTrace Trace Minerals is okay in a pinch. This will just help the kidneys as the high FLC can cause damage to them. If he wanted to support his kidneys I really like Standard Process Renatropin PMG. It’s available thru Amanda’s Fullscript account at 25% off. It’s kidney though. So, not plant based. But it works great and I’ve had others report this too. He should def be keeping an eye on the kidneys. Rehmannia is a TCM herb for kidney health.

And for the MM I would be taking the big three, curcumin, berberine and quercetin."

I reached out to a person at the "Beating MM with a Naturopathic Approach" FB Forum.
My question was in regards your low RGB and HGB levels.

Here's what was suggested:
I trust this person. She knows these things much better than I do. She's SMM and has never needed Treatment and has made significant improvements in her MM related Levels.

For myself, I'm not doing any of these. Since I've been off All MM Meds for almost two years, due to diet and a few Supplements now (greatly reduced from when I was Active), all of my CBCs, CMPs, etc have returned to Normal.

Since you have a low level of MM Activity and you're taking a large complement of Supplements that may actually keep these levels low, I would strongly consider the items below. If you can restore your RGB, HGB and Iron Levels to Normal, they should be reflected in better (lower) MM Levels.

"I can give you some ideas that helped me. I wonder how his iron levels are? For me I had iron deficiency anemia so that is what I was addressing. If he’s not got that issue he may need to tweak this.

First, I have found liver to be invaluable to me. But obviously not plant based so if he’s opposed to that I get it. But when my iron is suffering I will take more liver capsules and less when my iron is in a good range. At one point I took four liver capsules twice per day with a whole food vitamin C or lemon water. Now that my iron levels are good I take just one capsule twice per day. I use ancestral supplements brand or Nutricost. The reason I like liver SO much is because you get some B12 and folate as well as iron and so many other nutrients and these are in the natural form.

Many anti-myeloma supplements chelate iron, like curcumin, so it may be that two simple capsules per day may help him. This is not a lot of “meat” and should make little to no difference in the plant based thing. He should try just two caps with lemon water and see what happens. It’s always tricky balancing these things as you don’t want too much iron with any cancer and I know many want to be plants based. But I find liver to be a game hanger for me. The body know what to do with it and how to break it down. So for me, it’s a win. It is also high in vit an and I know we don’t want too much vitamin a but it’s very important for iron metabolism. There are many reasons to take it but since we tend to take so much that chelates iron I feel like starting with just two caps is a very tiny amount and should not give him too much iron. It has done more for me than anything else I’ve tried.

I would also suggest B12 and folate. Seeking Health is the only brand I would conside in this because they understand the MTHFR mutations. Obviously you don’t want too much of these either so I regularly get my iron panel, B12 and folate tested with every lab. I personally like my B12 to in the slightly higher end because of the MTHFR issue.
