Update: Oncologist ordered an X-ray, but the closest Radiologist that’s part of their network is too far. I went to Urgent Care for a UTI and mentioned the swollen foot. The X-ray showed arthritis and osteopenia but no broken bones. The swelling is already going down, but it’s still tender. It’s just above the toes on the top of the foot. It’s a weird place to sprain it. I really thought it had to do with the worsening neuropathy. I still don’t know what it is. I appreciate all the comments and my heart goes out to all of you and what you have been through.💕🌈❤️🌹 I’m feeling a little overwhelmed these days, now that my Dad is close by in Memory Care. I try not to think that there may come a day I can’t help him. He may outlive me! He’s 93 and on zero medications! My brother and I took him to my Dentist today. Most of his front tooth broke off. The Dentist put something like Bondo on it and it looks fabulous. No crown! He took into account his dementia and knew anesthetic was not the best option. God is good. I need to be more grateful.🌈 I’m grateful for all of you.💗

You should always consult a medical professional! This site is not the place for medical advice and I would ignore any that is given that doesn’t direct you to call your doctor!

I was in Europe in Nov on a tour. I suffer from neuropathy but still took the trip. I had to stay back at the hotel on the last day because my feet were so very swollen & painful. I attributed it all the walking we did from morning until early evening. LOTS of walking. When I returned to the states they settled down some & finally improved. I told my oncologist about this & he wasn’t too concerned. I started Lyrica 25 mg twice daily & it’s helped. Not 100% but better than it’s been in a long time. Reach out to your dr to get his input. Every case is different with MM.
