Not a MSpike # means - No MSpike was found.

If you’re on DarzFasPro or another mAb Med and you also had a SPEP Lab test that reported a MSpike value, it’s False and you can completely ignore it if it’s around 0.2 or less (and even if it’s a little higher so long as the #123218 Test has No MSpike Value.

Now get yourself a Blood Sample clonoSEQ Test - If it reports 10 -6, MRD Negative (no cancer per million cells tested), you Are In Complete Remission. For well over a year, John Hopkins has been using this Blood clonoSEQ Test as a Valid Test for being MRD Negative- without the need of a BMB.

My next monthly Labs are next week. It will also include my next Quarterly Blood clonoSEQ Test. While it Reports as 10 -6 Negative, I’m on No MM Meds, No Annual BMB, and No Annual Imaging. I’m now over 20 months as Cancer Free per my Blood Sample Quarterly clonoSEQ Tests.

It’s Absolutely the Case that DarzFasPro and other mAb Meds will cause a False MSpike in All Types of MM

The #123218 IFE, Dara-Specific Lab Test will correct this Error.

Even Janssen - the manufacturer of DarzFasPro has this stated on their Website Completely Wrong.

Janssen says this Test is only needed for IgG MM - But they Fail to Recognize that the SPEP test that Reports the MSpike value is showing the sum total of the MSpike from All Ig Bands and is Unable to detect which Band(s) are responsible for the MSpike value.

The #123218 Test should have provided a Comment of MSpike Not Found - that’s there way of saying the MSpike value is 0 (zero).

Thank you Larry, I thought maybe you would reply with an answer. Much appreciated. The M spike on my regular blood work was .11 at local clinic but .175 at Mayo. My Specialist there said it’s a different test. Whatever that means. I truly believe that 123218 should always be the test for those of us on Dara and do not understand why it isn’t. I requested it after I read your post suggesting it.
