Looking for a recommendation for an osteoporosis medication. I read that Forteo is not recommended for Multiple Myeloma patients. I am very concerned about ONJ, of course. I had a dental extraction almost 90 days ago but I've read some patients have waited almost a year and still have gotten ONJ.I have advanced osteoporosis of the lumbar spine. Thanks.

Mark,
I am allergic to so many foods and medications, but not to these specific supplements (Bone Maximizer). I have to be very careful with my gut. Thank you for asking. If you are not taking Longvida Curcumin , I recommend it.

I get an Xgeva injection monthly at this point. I do not have osteoporosis per dexa scan but I have path fractures at T8, T10 and now my upper right humerus. I also take 500 mg of calcium daily as the Xgeva takes the calcium out of the blood stream and drives it into the bone for bone strengthening. Your blood levels also need to be kept at normal range for little things like cardiac contractility.
