Yes. I was given Talquetamab (Talvey) prior to my CAR -T therapy in April ‘24 as a “belt and suspenders “ approach to my ongoing MM and PCL condition over the past 6 yrs. I did not suffer from Cytokine Release Syndrome (CRS) other than experiencing severe headaches for a couple of days following initial dosage. I’m delighted to report that I’ve been in remission for the past 8 months with virtually no ongoing side effects. I feel the best I’ve felt since before my original diagnosis. I’m unable to credit the Talvey with my results but delighted nonetheless with the outcome. Happy to provide additional info as desired.

I can’t credit Talvey alone for my results as it was given a few weeks prior to my CAR -T therapy and I don’t know if my remission is the result of Talvey or CAR -T. Regardless, one or both deserve the credit along with my incredible doctor Krina Patel, and her awesome staff at MD Anderson!

Well I have gone through the induction (step-up) process. Had a mild fever a couple of times. I am now on the regular dose and the only complication is a rash at the injection site (abdomen). As soon as enough blood work is completed for trending I will do an evaluation and post it here. So far it looks good. Just as with induction I developed a low grade fever (100.4 F) the day after the regular dose . It went away on its own after a night's sleep.

Hello I have been on Talvey for 9 months now ....my blood numbers are amazingly stable and I am maintaing pretty well. There are some side effects but they seem to betting better...I am soooo thankful for this new drug...I recommend it! Sarah Meredith
