Dont no where ultrasound came from

I have regular oncologist/hemitologist i now see every month
When I had kidneys issues I saw her every week. But once a year I see a specialist that is tracking my mm and recommends treatment to reg ultrasound oncologist.

You are right to trust your instincts. My first 2 Oncologists could not answer my basic questions about my type of MM. I finally figured out that my Oncologist needed to be a MM Specialist from people on this site. theMMRF.org has a list of MM Specialists and lots of other information. Local Oncologists are happy to work with a MM Specialist, who will guide them in treating you. They are professionals and don't get their feelings hurt because it's not their specialty. Check with your insurance, then go and see the Specialist, even if it's a drive. They are trained to know what tests to order and what treatment works best for your type of MM. MM is too complicated. You need to trust your doctor. It's your life on the line.
