I agree with the information above. I am currently in what may be termed remission and my Pomalyst is down to 2mg for 21 days and 7 off. Still get Darzalex Faspro 1800mg injection every 28 days.
After talking to my VA oncologist and my civilian oncologist I have opted to continue this regimen as I have no side effects from the meds. If I did have side effects it could change my thoughts but as of now I can do this for ever or until I do start experiencing side effects.
For me this is an easy decision at this time.
Yes, I spoke to my doctor and she agreed that switching to 5 mg was a good plan. The 5 mg capsules are so much easier to swallow and they are working just fine for me! I have been in remission for almost 4 years.
Speak to your Doctor.

Hi Sarah. I was just intent on lowering whatever I could. My #’s had been VGSR for quite awhile, so I asked to go down from 10 to 5 and we did. After 5 years on the Rev, I started to get some diarrhea every other day, so we switched to 2mg of Pom. That did fine for about 6 months, so I asked to reduce to 1 mg Pom. Now my lt chain ratio is going up, so we’re going back to 2mg Pom and see if #’s straighten out. So, you never know if reducing will be ok or not.
