Hello, I had my SCT at UCSF on 03/16/2023. There they programated my vaccines schedule. Had all my baby vaccines boosted (5 of them) plus the one for shingles. First round after 6 months of the transplant, and second round after a year. I still need to get my pneumonia shot in October. Also had the covid vaccine.
It might be a different depending where your SCT took place?...probably. But I had no problem figuring it out as I mentioned before, they have thier protocol regarding time and kind of vaccines you would get.
When I had problem my stem cell doc set it up
My onocolgist at the VA here in KC in conjunction with the Oncologist at KU where I had my SCT and I basically received 4 shots in one day at my six months Mark after SCT.
Most of mine were administered by my pharmacist. The Meningococcal and Polio were given by my GP.
