Ny husband had Car-T March 19. Initially we thought he was going to ace the "complications" like he did with stem cell transplant 7 yrs ago but the last 6 weeks have been devastating. He is in full remission but in a freefall physically and neurologically and they think the re-engineered T cells are blocking the baby reds released from the bone marrow into the blood from maturing. So transfusions! He has many of the symptoms of CRS and ICANS. At this point 3+ mos later, he regrets his decision. Do your research and ask lots of questions, we didn't. Just our experience.

I'm so sorry your husband is going through all these complications. I appreciate all the information. I am hoping I am able to put off Car T until they perfect it a little better. I have a PET scan tomorrow to check on 2 tumors I had radiated a few months ago. I'm a bit anxious on what they might find. I am currently on DEX, Sarclisa and pomalyst. I feel really good. Just waiting...

Following. I'm IgA Kappa stage 3 with Tp53 deletion. My MM oncologist says I'm his worse case and is speaking of possibly doing CAR-T sometime.
