We Will Be Traveling For Our Grandson's Wedding. Because Ed Has So Many Prescriptions, How Do I Carry Them Safely.

I am concerned that Airport screeners could flag them. There are some narcotic meds included. Do we carry them in our luggage? Carry ons? My purse?

Carry only what you will need. They should be with you at all times. I use a pill dispenser as well. Checked luggage can get lost. I like the above post about printing a list of your prescriptions with a photo. Narcotic medications are a big target for theft. I certainly would not take my entire prescription of my controlled medications. It would be hard to get them replaced when you get home. Have a safe and fun trip.💖

Our son has told us that some states do require prescriptions to be in their original containers. We tried to find that on the TSA website. Lots of information, but not an answer to that. Thank you all!

I put them in my pill dispenser, but also carry a copy of my meds list and photos on my phone of the containers with the medical information in case of questions. Keep them with you as a carry on. I've traveled in the US and abroad with no problems.

We carry them in the daily organizer dispensers (7 day pill cases) in our carry on luggage. Has never been an issue.

It worries me both ways but I worry less if they are on my carry on due to luggage getting lost
