Had been taking Xgeva since 4/2020, when i was diagnosed with MM. Was aware of possible side effects (lower jaw bone) just did not expect a tooth to fall out. Saw dental surgeon today and he advised another tooth will fall soon, and nothing can be done…..maybe my dentist can make a bridge-?? Such a crazy predicament: almost like choosing the lesser of two evils: Xgeva/jaw and teeth loss or bone fractures…..

I had been on Prolia before starting Xgeva. Seven months after stopping the Prolia, I ended up with two fractures of Lumbar Spine and three in the T-Spine. I was then put of Xgeva and so far have had no new bone fractures. I am afraid of stopping it as it could cause more spinal fractures according to the list of side affects.
