I was diagnosed on 5th February with Myeloma I’m waiting to hear what my treatment will be but the oncologist just mentioned that my Free Light Chain Lambda was 2010 Can anyone tell me is that dangerously high?
Check out the website theMMRF.org
You should be able to see Normal Ranges for each test.

You can look at the normal ranges and see that yours is way too high. So you probably need treatment. It looks like they are figuring out the best plan for you. What type of myeloma do you have? It it light chain only? Lambda? Mine is IgG Lambda so I look to see if my Lambda is going up. What's your ratio? Is your kidney function good? Bun and creatinine? Thankfully most people respond well to treatment and there are lots of options available these days 💕
Thank you Paula. I will look that up. Marion xx
Yes we learned a lot from our friend was what we needed to do to save our spouse a lot of grief when one of us passes. One thing we learned from her was to make sure everything is jointly organized so that when you have to talk with a company.they will be legally able too talk with you.
I learned so much from taking care of my mom before she passed. I had to train each Caregiver. Mom was very particular. Having it all in writing worked very well. I wrote down everything she ate, had a schedule for the medications, noted how long she slept, and since her bowels were blocked with tumors, a BM list was very important.
